It all happened quite naturally.
What started as a quest to ease my own son’s skin allergies by sourcing organic fabrics and natural cotton clothing over 20 years ago —when this was done through the actual Yellow Pages and a lot of phone calls—turned into so much more.
I immediately discovered the almost indescribable charm that comes with giving someone a uniquely-curated baby gift. What began in my own home, fueled by Tupperware style parties and endless requests from friends, quickly blossomed into our first small store on the Guilford green.
“We became known as THE place to get a precious baby gift, which was only amplified by the internet. Eventually, we started getting orders from companies all over the world. We’ve been able to successfully take the retail experience of baby gifting and repackage it for the corporate world.”
After 4 years in those humble digs, we needed more space to support the retail and corporate businesses, and moved to our current location on Route 1. It was originally a pediatric office—which seemed like a natural fit, though we aim to serve a different baby need. Lots of parents and grandparents still come in and recall their trips to see the doctor with their kids back in the day.
Though we love our brick and mortar store, the ability to sell online and to ship heartwarming gifts around the world for consumers and for corporations has allowed us to touch families with that same magical feeling that inspired us to start a baby business in the first place. We’re grateful for the many loyal customers who have supported our journey, and for those we have not met, yet.
